We have used Parker Brown on more than 6 projects.  What a pleasure knowing the job will be done on time and on budget. It might be a few dollars more, but worth it."

Parker Brown is proud to once again complete a project for UCLA Health. The tenant improvement project at 111 E. Victoria St. in Santa Barbara involved a full interior demolition and build out of the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. Total size of the project was nearly 28,000 square feet.

This medical office replaces a smaller UCLA Health facility and will now be able to serve more patients, particularly those with cancer. The third floor of the facility is dedicated to cancer care and includes nine exam rooms and a lab, as well as infusion bays. The second floor has 18 exam rooms and labs, as well as areas for X-Rays and blood drawing.

The project also involved a new generator, electrical switchgear and re-striping in the parking lot. Stairwells throughout the building were improved for aesthetics and safety. New landscaping was installed.

The Parker Brown team faced challenges as it tried to coordinate a Southern California Edison service upgrade with the deadlines of the UCLA Health team. We pride ourselves on overcoming such challenges and we met the deadline.

Gene Jang managed the project for Parker Brown.
