Driverless technology is the wave of the future and although it appears to be a few years off, Parker Brown is playing a role. Continental Advanced Lidar Solutions in Carpinteria selected Parker Brown for a major job in its facility. This is an 18,000-square-feet job that includes 4,000-square-feet of clean rooms and labs. The bulk of the job includes offices and there is also a parking garage.
This is a driverless technology lab that uses Lidar (a detections system that works on the principles of radar, but uses light from a laser). From a mezzanine level we will build, the team will use the lasers to perfect the technology.
